Privacy policy

WhereTaxMoneyGoes ("we") is operated by Rumonz AI Studio. We built the site to work without collecting personal information.

What we collect

• No accounts. There is no registration, login or subscription.
• Searches go directly to USAspending.gov. When you use award search or open an award, your browser sends the search filters directly to the public USAspending.gov API. We do not receive or store your search terms. USAspending.gov's own privacy policy applies to those requests.
• Server logs. Our web host records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) for security and troubleshooting. They are kept for a limited time and not used to identify you.
• Email. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

Cookies and advertising

The site currently sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics or display advertising in the future, we will update this policy before doing so and, where required, ask for your consent.

Children

The site is a general-audience research tool and does not knowingly collect information from children.
